I'm so heavy

the blackness stuck to her insides burning tiny hole that would catch her breath as she would inhale.
she imagines that the smoke that followed her father around was to blame as she would be close behind him lost in the haze and lead only by his hand that seemed to appear out the smoke and connect to nothing and nobody. she thinks he's to blame for the constellations the tiny dots of light that burn through her ribs and leave her specked and sparkling and beautiful but on fire and burning out like a supernova.
